Days Gone Fast...

Days and nights are blurring together at this point. Less than a week and we are going to be on site setting up... Looking forward to seeing your smiling faces!
JahSun working hard, sweating it out for the love of it. Look at that form, this guy knows how to hammer...

This chop saw, 'Choppy' has served us well... never questioning, always clean slicing through anything we put under her blade of glory.
From PVC, to bamboo, to pine, Choppy keeps on cuttin'

meetings, meetings, meetings, meetings, meetings.... tightening up on details... its going to be a blast!

PEX Lumber Jacks

Big Jawn and JahSun, after a very interesting start of the day involving the white truck again, made it to the bamboo forest. It took at least 2 days of hiking through the jungles to find the perfect patch to begin harvesting. At least 3 people from the original party didn't make it through to see the glory, the jungle had to take its toll...

The jungle and its 100% humidity does not stop PEX

JahSun braves the thick jungle brush tearing clean through even the thickest of stalks.
After about 4 hours of being 'one' with the jungle, its bugs, and its mud we came out with a successful harvest! Now they cure up until the festival when who knows where they will be used...

Friday Night, ETA 2 Weeks

Friday night @ the PEX Kitchen, 2 weeks until the even is in full gear... What better way to unwind after a long week than creating?

The Kitchen is in full gear churning out the good stuff!

But wait, timeout! The White truck needs a jump from a wee old Toyota Camry. Ok back to work...

A Bundle of Fun...

Big Jawn gets to cutting repair parts for The Tripods, a fire installation that has been out of commission for 2 years...

All prepped, now for a ride on the plasma cutter and welding...

This is what we like to call a blank slate, we love stuff like this.

JahSun has a moment of inspiration after a serious soul searching session with his beehive doo

So he gets to painting the base for an unnamed installation...

What could this be?

End of the night, Tripod repair complete! Keep an eye out for these...

Someone is always sketching something to make...

JahSun's pack flat beds are coming along nicely. They are super comfy

Early sketch of one of the stages...
